Judging criteria

The Jury evaluates every entry against the criteria below. Each area carries a set weight in the final score.

The whole picture counts

There is no perfect recipe for winning — what counts is an exceptional strategy, consistent action, an innovative approach and real business impact. It is the combination of all of these that decides the final result.

FAQ/

Frequently asked questions

What does the Jury look at?

The candidate’s real achievements: strategy, innovative and unique actions, results, the company’s or brand’s achievements and career path. Each criterion has its own weight — see the table above.

Does the presentation format matter?

Results matter most, not how the presentation is made. Form counts too: short, specific, with data and creative examples. See “How to prepare an entry” for tips.

Can I add a film?

Yes — we recommend a short film (up to a few minutes) presenting you, your team and your key achievements. Jury members appreciate this format.

Who sees my entry?

Only the organizer and Jury members. Score sheets and comments are confidential, and Jury members with a conflict of interest do not judge that company’s entries.

Who is the competition for?

For people working in marketing, communications, PR, sales, digital and e-commerce.

Is the competition only for directors?

No. The Jury recognizes directors, heads of communications, PR, digital and e-commerce, as well as brand and product managers. In the Young & Impact categories we look for talent from NGOs, government, start-ups and young marketers.

Who can enter me?

Candidates can enter themselves or be entered by their company, agency or media house. An agency can enter several clients in one order.

How do I choose categories?

One person may enter up to 4 individual categories and 1 team category. Every individual entry automatically qualifies for the Grand Prix. Not sure where to start? Ask the category advisor.

What is the entry deadline?

12 November 2026.

How do I prepare an entry?

Prepare a presentation: the candidate’s bio, a company profile, the actions they are responsible for, examples and results. You can add a short film. Tips and judging criteria are in the Entry Kit.

What does an entry include?

Individual and team entries include an invitation to the CMO Executive Summit conference and the Final Gala on 4 December 2026. The conference precedes the DMR Gala.
