How to prepare an entry
The entry presentation should show the candidate’s achievements: the goals set and how they were reached. Here is the structure that works best, plus tips from the organizer.
Presentation structure
- 01
Candidate profile
1–2 slidesCareer path, position in the current company, awards and distinctions, passions and interests.
- 02
Company and brands managed
2–3 slidesThe market position of the company and its brands, the candidate’s scope of responsibility, industry competition.
- 03
Goals and challenges
2–3 slidesThe goals and challenges the candidate faced — from sales growth to building a marketing team.
- 04
How the goals were achieved
4–5 slidesThe most important part: selected examples of actions and a detailed description of those that contributed most to the goal.
- 05
Results
2–3 slidesThe results — ideally in numbers. If they cannot be measured, describe the effects of the planned actions.
- 06
Who helped succeed
1–2 slidesMedia houses, marketing and PR agencies and other partners; in an individual entry, team members too.
Film. We recommend a short recording to accompany the entry — the candidate speaking or colleagues presenting them. Any format works, ideally up to a few minutes.
Five tips from the organizer
The Jury judges real achievements, not how the presentation is made. Form still matters, though.
- Tip 1
Content is king
Write briefly, in key points, with infographics and bullet points — they make fast reading easier.
- Tip 2
Less is more
Focus on the most important actions and describe them well instead of listing every campaign.
- Tip 3
A picture is worth a thousand words
Show data in charts, and be sure to show the Jury your most original creative work.
- Tip 4
Typography
Readable font sizes, emphasis on what matters, proper spacing — the presentation should be easy on the eye.
- Tip 5
Multimedia
A short film about yourself and your achievements has helped many winners stand out and win.
What the Jury evaluates
The Jury reviews the entries and decides the winners in each category by secret ballot at the Jury meeting. It pays particular attention to:
- StrategyWe assess how coherent and clear the marketing strategy is, how well it fits business goals and how it draws on insight and market analysis.
- InnovationWe look at how far the entry stands out through an innovative approach, new solutions or a creative use of technology, trends and tools.
- Campaign / activitiesWe assess the quality and strength of the campaign or marketing activities — from the idea and execution to consistent communication and audience engagement.
- EffectivenessWe analyse real results — impact on business performance, growth, ROI, reach, sales, brand awareness and other measurable effects.
- HeritageWe value long-term brand equity, consistent communication and the contribution to the company's growth and market position over time.
- Awards and recognitionWe take into account previous awards, industry recognition and standing in the marketing and business community.
